A 3D casino with voice chat: how to make the room feel social

A practical guide to proximity voice chat, push-to-talk, speaking indicators and comfortable conversations in Betworld’s 3D casino.

The best part of a social game can be the moment between rounds: someone joins the table, a friend reacts to a result, or a conversation carries on while you explore. Live voice chat gives those moments a place in a 3D casino without requiring everyone in the world to join the same call.

Proximity makes conversation local

Betworld uses proximity voice. You hear players near you, and voices fade as the distance between you increases. That helps a room hold more than one conversation. A group by one table does not need to become the soundtrack for everyone exploring elsewhere.

Position is part of the interaction. Walk closer when you want to join a group; move away when you want some space. If a friend sounds distant, check that you are in the same world and standing near each other before changing microphone settings.

Choose how you want to speak

Push-to-talk is a useful starting point. Hold the voice key shown in your controls when you want to speak, then release it when you are finished. On touch screens, use the talk control. The browser asks for microphone permission when microphone access is needed.

An open microphone is another option in voice settings. It can suit a quiet room, but background conversations, speakers and keyboard noise may be audible. Headphones help keep game audio out of the microphone. You can mute your microphone without leaving the table.

See who is talking

A green speaking icon appears beside a player’s overhead identity while they are talking. The voice list also shows active speakers, with the same recognisable names and role badges used elsewhere in the interface. Those small cues help when several people are new to you.

The indicator is useful feedback for your own setup too. If people cannot hear you, check microphone permission, the selected microphone mode and whether you are muted. If someone else is too loud or you do not want to hear them, use the available player and voice controls.

Leave room for different kinds of players

Not everyone wants to talk. Some players prefer community text chat, some use emotes, and others simply want to watch the room. A friendly greeting is enough; silence does not need an explanation. The shared space works better when people can choose their own level of participation.

At a table, keep game reactions separate from pressure on someone else’s bet. You can enjoy a surprising result together without telling another player to raise a stake or keep playing. The social part should make the room more comfortable, not make decisions harder.

Make a small ritual of meeting up

Agree on a world and a recognisable meeting point, get your microphones comfortable and take a walk before choosing a game. A regular spot gives friends an easy way to find each other, even when different people arrive at different times.

A social crypto casino with live voice chat is still a casino, but a session does not have to consist only of bets. You can explore a map, compare avatars and talk between rounds. Take breaks when you want them, and use mute or text chat whenever that feels better.
